No, there are no specific numbers for specific cities and states. FaxMicro Local users can select their number from a list of available numbers, FaxMicro Toll-Free users may completely compose their fax numbers themselves. FaxMicro users who sign up for a Free Trial account will get their fax number automatically assigned by the system.
The Fax printer driver does not work with all operating systems. The recommended operating systems are Windows XP and Windows 2000. We are currently working on making the Fax printer driver work on Windows Vista and MAC software.
For using FaxMicro you only need a computer with an Internet connection. The Online Control Panel functions like your personal fax machine, to use it you just need to login to your account on the FaxMicro website.
To use the Fax printer driver, you need to download the software from the FaxMicro website. After the installation, you can send faxes straight from the program you used to compose the file.
The software can be found in the downloads section.
For toll free numbers, download the transfer form below and fax it to 1-888-217-4459. There is no transfer fee. Please allow 3-4 business weeks to complete the transfer process. Local numbers may not be transferred to FaxMicro.
Please include the recent bill from the present fax provider. All information on the bill should match the information on the transfer form.

FaxMicro uses the following billing schedules to notify you with your occuring charges and to ensure that you will have enough time to settle your accounts.
Notification schedules
- Bill: Bills will be sent to the account holder's main email address two weeks before the billing date, and includes information about the due date and the total amount due.
- Payment notice: This will be sent to the account holder's main email address right after a transaction has been successfully completed.
- Declined notice: This will be sent when a transaction attempt fails to process correctly.
- Expired credit card notice: This will be sent to the account holder's email address
Customers who are no longer in need of our services can cancel their account via their FaxMicro control panel. Click here for the step by step process.
FaxMicro can only accept payment made by credit card. When paying by credit card it is important your information is kept up to date. If your billing information changes (i.e. each time your new credit card is renewed with a new expiration date or if you change credit card companies), please send the new information to FaxMicro as soon as possible.
